Andorran Euro coins
Even if it is not part of the European Union, the Principality of Andorra is authorized, with an agreement signed on 30 June 2011, to issue Euro coins with its own national side. The first coins, issued with the year of minting 2014, came in circulation on 15 January 2015. The subjects to be represented on the national side of the coins were chosen by the Andorran people through a competition held in 2013, and concern landscapes, nature and flora for emissions of 1 2 and 5 cents, Romanesque art for the 10 20 and 50 cents pieces, "Casa de la Vall" for the 1 Euro coin and the Andorra's Coat of arms for the 2 Euro one. On the reverse, like any other country, the coins shows the common face of Euro issues. For the years 2014, 2016 and 2018 the coins was minted in Spain, while in 2015, 2017 and 2019 the production was committed to the French mint.
