2 Euro Commemorative coins Luxembourg 2023
175th Anniversary of the Chamber of Deputies and the First Constitution
The Obverse, on the left-hand side of the coin, depicts the effigy of His Royal Highness the Grand-Duke Henri while, on the right-hand side, the building of the Chamber of Deputies, located in the city of Luxembourg, is represented. The inscription "1848 Chambre des députés" is placed above and to the right of the building, written one part horizontally and one part vertically, and also extends partially into the outer crown. The vertical part of the inscription ends with the sign of the French mint and the symbol of the author Joaquin Jimenez (there are two variants with regard to the mint symbols: on the BU coincard and BU sets there is the mark of the Dutch mint and the symbol of the Dutch mint director, while on the mint sets Proof and commemorative mint sets Proof there is the mark of the Slovak mint). In the lower part, below a horizontal line, the inscription "LUXEMBOURG" with the minting year underneath is engraved, partly in the outer crown. On the outside part are placed 12 five-pointed stars, representing the European Union. The coin's Reverse is the new common side of Euro coins, with the face value "2" on the left and the European continent on the right, overlapped by the inscription "EURO". Six vertical lines with a star at each end are placed behind the Europe's image.

25th anniversary of the admission of Grand Duke Henri as a member of the International Olympic Committee
The Obverse depicts the effigy of His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri, facing to the right. To the left, near the back of the portrait, are the vertical inscriptions "LËTZEBUERG" (extending partially into the outer crown) and "GROUSSHERZOG HENRI" ("GRANDUCA HENRI"), placed side by side. On the right-hand side of the coin, starting from above the effigy to the bottom, five stylised figures representing athletes from various Olympic disciplines are depicted. Between the stylised athletes is the number "25", with the year "1998" immediately above and the minting year "2023" underneath. Further down, below the last figure, is the three-line inscription "MEMBER VUM INTERNATIONALEN OLYMPESCHE KOMMITEE" ("MEMBER OF THE INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIC COMMITTEE"). At the bottom, near the edge, three Olympic circles are reproduced, within which one can see: the author's initials Chiara Principe "CP", the sign of the French mint and the symbol of the author Joaquin Jimenez (there are two variants with regard to the mint symbols: on the BU coincard and BU sets there is the mark of the Dutch mint and the symbol of the Dutch mint director, while on the mint sets Proof and commemorative mint sets Proof there is the mark of the Slovak mint). On the outside part are placed 12 five-pointed stars, representing the European Union.
