Dutch Euro coins
All Dutch Euro coins minted until 2013 featured on the obverse the portrait of Queen Beatrix, depicted in two different designs, one for the 1 and 2 Euro coins and the other for the 1 to 50 cents pieces. Due the abdication of the Queen and the accession to the throne of the new Sovereign Willem Alexander, a second series of coins was issued, all presenting the same design that depicts the portrait of the King. On the reverse side, like any other Euro issue, the design is common to all nations.
All coins are minted by the National Mint of Utrecht.
