2 Euro Commemorative coins Slovakia 2023
100 years since the first blood transfusion in Slovakia
On the Obverse, in the centre of the coin and within a circle, are two equilateral crosses (the recognised symbol of medical care), drawn one inside the other. In each of the arms of the larger one is engraved one of the four blood groups, while inside the smaller one is a drop of blood. Around the two crosses are stylised representations of test tubes (containing a drop of blood) and drops of blood, alternating with each other and placed inside another circle. On the outside of the second circle, near the edge, are: at the top left, the circular inscription "PRVÁ TRANSFÚZIA KRVI" (FIRST BLOOD TRANSFUSION), on the right the years "1923-2023" written in an arc, and at the bottom the circular inscription "SLOVENSKO", separated from the other inscription and from the years by two dots. Immediately above the inscription of the country, on either side of one of the stylised tubes, one can see the mintmark "MK" on the left and the author's initials "MP" on the right. On the outer part 12 five-pointed stars, symbol of the European Union. The coin's Reverse is the new common side of Euro coins, with the face value "2" on the left and the European continent on the right, overlapped by the inscription "EURO". Six vertical lines with a star at each end are placed behind the Europe's image.

200 years since the start of regular stagecoaches Vienna–Bratislava
The Obverse depicts a postal carriage of the period, with the symbol of the mail service between Vienna and Bratislava in the centre, drawn by two horses. At the top, near the inner edge and partially superimposed on the design, is the circular inscription "SLOVENSKO". In the lower part, partly inside the image, is the year "1823", with the names of the two cities "VIEDEŇ" and "BRATISLAVA" written one below the other. Further down, positioned below a horizontal line, is the minting year. On the right hand side, between the design and the edge, is the mintmark "MK" with the author's initials "MP" immediately below it.
