600th anniversary since the Coronation of Barbara of Celje
On the Obverse, in the centre, in a pattern of vertical stripes, is a portrait of the Queen Barbara of Celje depicted with a sceptre; above the image are three six-pointed stars, the symbol of the Counts of Celje. To the left is the inscription "SLOVENIJA" and to the right the inscriptions "BARBARA CELJSKA" and "1414 - 2014". On the outer part 12 five-pointed stars, symbol of the European Union. The coin's Reverse is the new common side of Euro coins, with the face value "2" on the left and the European continent on the right, overlapped by the inscription "EURO". Six vertical lines with a star at each end are placed behind the Europe's image.
Edge: finely milled, with the inscription "SLOVENIJA •"
